Heat vs. Gas

When you are traveling in winter, it is hard to keep your car warm. It is difficult to fight with cold. In winters, you have a limited amount of gas that is not enough to keep your vehicle warm. Therefore, you need a heat source to keep your car warm. In winters, it is necessary to maintain the heat-ness of the engine. Well, this is the biggest problem in cold and snowy weather.  Now, you need to utilize the remaining gas efficiently. Do not waste the fuel you have in your car. You will have to ration gas vigilantly.

To save and utilize the remaining gas of the car, you need to keep it turn on. Moreover, you will have to restrain your vehicle to get freeze. After turning the car on, run the heater at full blast for just ten minutes. Well, repeat this practice once every hour, until you receive local help. I understand the situation, this will not be comfortable for your car and you. And you have a family with you that has stranded in the same car, then the circumstances could be more sensitive. However, you and your family have to stay alive.

Another necessary precaution is to prevent carbon monoxide poison. Well, you could receive this dangerous gas from the engine of the car. It could build toxic gas in the car if you are not moving the car and the exhaust is running continuously. Therefore, to prevent carbon monoxide, you need to use an exhaust pipe. It could help you to save your breaths from poison. The pipe should be free of snow and debris. Otherwise, you could face some unbearable circumstances. Do not allow carbon monoxide to build up in the car. The blockage of this gas could be fatal.

Flagging Down Aid Without Any Wastage

To flag down help, you will need to turn on hazard lights. Well, if you are not driving your car, then you could waste your battery. However, if the car is running, then turn this off to save the gas. Do not try anything that could waste your fuel and battery. However, this is a simple and effortless way to save electricity and gas.

You need to generate a temporary flag that is a bright piece of cloth. Moreover, you need to use reflective tape. Now tie this piece of cloth and tape with the radio antenna of your car. Moreover, you should have a windshield wiper that can flip them up. This could work as a substitute for hazard light. However, the benefits are almost the same. This technique will not drain out your limited resources.
